I started playing and singing music at age 5, around the same time I started writing stories and poems. Words, melodies, rhythms have always interlaced themselves in what I do. Creative expression has always been curative for me, and has ultimately been how I come back to myself after moments of loss and after many failures. When I started approaching myself with the same gentleness I approach others with, I found I could own all the parts of myself, and express my own truths through creative means.

Today I am a published writer, an active performer, a compassionate educator, and a community leader who lives to create and hold space for others to tell their stories.
